It has been one year since I started rambling on about my kids, art and the happy mess that the two create together. I write about our adventures because I feel so passionate about children learning and growing with art. I write because it is documenting special times I have with my little ones as we fly through these precious years way too fast. I write to keep my family (that is a little too far for my liking) connected to us. I write in hopes of inspiring others. I don't know if I do so, but I hope so.
Thank you friends for all the support! I love our little inspiring circle we have. To celebrate my first year as a speaking out loud, owl loving, mess embracing, rambling too much, professional glue remover and play dough making extraordinaire.....I want to give away my favorite art caddy by Boon. It will also be filled with some of my favorite art creating goods! All you have to do is tell me here what inspires you to create.
I hope you win!

ReplyDeleteHow cute is that?! Happy One Year Blogaversarie!
ReplyDeleteMy girls love to collage and create "mixed media" pieces (and books) with the scrap box of paper around here, I could see my 5 year old having a blast with all of those supplies plus our paper box. Thank you!
My kids inspire me to create! I probably wouldn't attempt half of the things we do if it weren't for them!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on one year! :)

WHAT A TREAT!! You are a friend of shrnk and i thank you for your support. I am putting my company on hiatus as you may have read this past weekend to be able to focus more on my 6 year old. She and i LOVE to create together and what a perfect time to find you! I am tickled about being able to experience new craft project with her via your blog. Thank you in advance :)
Kindly,
Lena Wu-Fuentes owner/shrnk
Hi Lena! Welcome! I did see your announcement and it made me so sad, but happy for you!! I was bummed to miss your sale for the first time ever...we moved to Portland so it wasn't so convenient. ;)
DeleteGlad to have you here. Enjoy your new extra time with your little one.
Yay one year! Congrats! Books & nature inspire us.... xoxox
ReplyDeleteCongrats Melissa!! Thank you for your ideas and inspiration! Miss ya!
ReplyDeletePInterest totally inspires my creative bug!! It's also how I found you!!
ReplyDeleteGreen Owl Art + my kids inspire me! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1 year! Let's see--Taylor inspires me to create and hopefully I inspire him. Love this blog. Of course it inspires me, too.
ReplyDeleteTravel and nature inspire me. Pinterest helps a bit too. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy one year!!! I didn't realize you started GOA three days before we started Family Sponge. November must be the month. :) Hmmmm...what inspires me. Definitely nature. I love bringing the outdoors in. 2. Coffee and music also really inspire me to be creative. Whenever we do a craft, there has to be Pandora and Starbucks. Then if the craft turns out bad, I still have my coffee and good tunes.
ReplyDeleteYOU inspire me!! And Scarlett...her excitement about creating inspires me :)
ReplyDeleteHappy One Year Blog-aversary! You are doing an awesome job Melissa! Keep on going and keep on inspiring :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat inspires me: my kids, and new initiatives. Breathing air into a new project, gets the juices going. Embarking on new adventures, big or small, or even hearing from others that they are gets me inspired to follow my (our) dreams.
Congratulations on 1 year!! Things that inspire us...nature, our imaginations, books, animals, and music.
ReplyDeleteI like to create because I get completely absorbed in what I'm doing.
