I'm a web shopper. Mainly Amazon and Zulily and I pick of fabulous finds while I'm out and about.
ReplyDeleteOh wait, I do make some gifts too. :)
ReplyDeleteI will do some shopping at the Salvation Army (mostly books) and the rest on Amazon. I am also making homemade deodorant for gifts for close friends (you can only give close friends deodorant, right?!). PS: this Trunky looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI will be doing a little on-line shopping. The rest I will be getting at the Waldorf Winter Faire where beautiful artisan toys and gifts will be for sale from local vendors. Also I plan to make a few gifts. (There's a doll making workshop I'm thinking of taking that will provide a lovely gift or two.)
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a last minute shopper. I prefer to purchase consumable items or an experience (take the person somewhere like an ice cream shop or a museum). Otherwise an awesome book and educational toy. I love Melissa & Doug!
ReplyDeleteI have already started! Trying to do as much online as possible! Home made photo albums for the grand parents ;)
ReplyDeleteI will do 50/50 of online and waiting until the last minute

I do most of my shopping online. I'd say 80% online 20% local. Love Melissa and Doug too!
ReplyDeleteI shop on-line, shop local to help local economy, and have made some gifts in the past. My favorite year of giving was while I was in college and hand-made my entire family's and friends gifts. I did this because I couldn't afford to buy "real" presents. Funny how that was my most memorable giving year! :-)
ReplyDeleteI like shopping online mostly, because that's where the deals are. I also like getting handmade or WAHM products for my kids. I always have good intentions of getting my shopping done early, but it rarely happens! :P
ReplyDeleteI shop wherever the sales are! Online and in store and all year round. Whenever I see a good deal I get it and stock up for the holidays! I especially love Melissa & Doug toys!

Wherever I can find a good sale! I also just ordered a few christmas gifts from ecomom.com, one of my new favorite sites!
ReplyDeleteI plan to make as many as possible to save some money, and will try to get everything done early b/c my son's first bday is a few days after and I need to stay on top of my game :) bunches to do!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to buy only two gifts for each child ... one from Santa and one from us so hopefully it will be simple. Not the day after T Day for sure!
ReplyDeleteMostly online & local thrift shops for special finds & books..
ReplyDeleteI've been doing all my shopping online. Using my Discover points on Amazon to pay for most purchases.
ReplyDeleteHi! I love Melissa & Doug ! I do some of my shopping online, some at the stores and some handmade lol
ReplyDeleteMostly Amazon and Target with a few homemade gifts in between!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! You have won, but I have no way to contact you??
DeleteI make most everything here at home.

Online is how we do it here...for chanuka and christmas. Allows more time in the kitchen to BAKE, BAKE, and BAKE some more.
ReplyDeleteFor my son, since we're in Korea, the only way to really do it is to shop online. Especially if we want things in English- otherwise English versions are double the price.
ReplyDeleteFor my husband, I have found some amazing seamstresses that will make customs suits and dress shirts for less than you'd buy them in the store- so he's getting a couple of shirts, a suit and ties made locally.
For family back in the states, we made gifts.
I hadn't thought about it, but I guess we're doing a little bit of everything!
Well, except for the crazy Black Friday sales. :)
